CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
A $250.00 deposit will reserve a space in class. Student will receive a full refund of deposit minus any credit card processing fees if notice of intent to cancel is received within 72 hours after receipt of initial payment. If a training manual has been sent out, the refund will be issued upon receipt of the training manual back by the school within 2 days. If the manual is not received, the deposit will be withheld. The 72 hour cancellation period does not apply if the student reserves their seat less than 1 week prior to the class start date. Please allow an additional three business days to receive refund. Deposit is deducted from tuition and balance of tuition is due ten days prior to start of class. Neither deposit nor tuition are refundable if student fails to show up for class. However, if there is a proven emergency, we will offer the student the next available opening dates for two classes in which they can participate at no additional charge. Student must clear their schedule and pick from one of the two classes offered or they forfeit their deposit and tuition.
POLICIES
In Class Dress Code - Business casual is the expectation while in class. No khaki's, jeans, shorts, or hoodies will be allowed. Shoes must be close toed. No sandals allowed.
Non-discrimination - "The Academy" @ New You Face and Body LLC does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, marital status, national origin, race, religion or sexual orientation.
Attendance and Tardiness - To receive a certificate of completion, you must arrive on time for class each day. The classes begin at 8:00am and end at approximately 7:00pm each day. Students who arrive late or miss class time, will be responsible for additional charges accrued to make up the missed class time.
Student Records - Student records will be kept for a period of 5 years from the date of program completion. Records are kept private and can be accessed only with written request from the student.
Satisfactory Progress Policy and Evaluation - Students must maintain satisfactory progress during training. Each student is evaluated during each phase of class. If a student's comprehension or performance falls below the passing level of 75%, re-evaluation or additional time will be recommended for practice and study before conclusion of the program. If the student chooses not to bring their skills and understanding up to the level that allows them to safely perform services, no certification will be granted even though they may complete other requirements.
You must work on live models and complete your required hours to receive certification. It is the trainer's sole discretion whether a student is ready to work on live models. If a student is unable to meet minimum standard as required, there will be no refund of tuition.
We reserve the right to withhold certificate of completion if a student does not exhibit minimum standards of skill required to perform procedures satisfactorily. Each student may sit in on (for viewing purposes only) one additional scheduled class free of charge if either the instructor or the student feels it is necessary. If additional one on one training is required, student will be required to pay fees for private classes at $100/hr until minimum standards are met for certification.
